Pegasus Astro Flatmaster Neo 120

Pegasus Astro FlatMaster Neo 120 Retractable LED Flat-Field Panel The FlatMaster Neo 120 is the “make flats painless” upgrade your imaging workflow deserves. It’s a retractable, remotely controlled LED flat panel that delivers uniform illumination for telescopes up to 120mm, with true 0–100% dimming so you can hit consistent exposures without stacking paper, T-shirts, or prayers between the scope and the panel. It’s also built to live on the telescope: the adjustable lid doubles as a protective cover against dust and moisture, and the whole unit is housed in aircraft-grade aluminum for serious durability. Uniform flat-field illumination for telescopes up to 120mm (great for calibration and photometric captures) True 0–100% brightness control Store brightness per filter and instantly recall the right setting Supports high brightness for short flat exposures (example: 2–3 seconds at f/7 even with 3nm narrowband filters) Retractable servo lid (0°–270°) Remote-controlled opening/closing Set a custom maximum opening angle to avoid collisions in tight observatory setups Lid doubles as a dust/moisture cover for your objective when closed Specialized silicone flange Creates a light- and dust-proof seal around optical elements Helps prevent LED spill into surrounding areas (useful in shared observatories) One-cable operation (USB-C) for both power and control Manual button for open/close and quick control when you’re at the scope Built-in dew heater + smart sensors Heater helps keep the panel dry and reduces moisture trapped when closing the lid Temperature + humidity sensor calculates dew point and can auto-adjust heater intensity Option to enable/disable automation or manually set and store heater power Built-in light sensor automatically closes the lid at sunrise Wi-Fi control + standalone web dashboard Connect via the device’s Wi-Fi hotspot or join an existing network as a client Control from any phone/tablet/computer through the integrated dashboard ASCOM 7 + ASCOM Alpaca support out of the box for easy automation/integration Specifications Type: Servo retractable lid 0°–270° with white LED light panel Dimming: Yes (0–100%) Usable illuminated diameter: 120mm Material: Aircraft-grade aluminum Power requirements: 5V DC via USB-C, 1.5A max Manual control: Push button (open/close + different brightness levels) Sensors: Temperature, humidity, and ambient light sensor (sunrise auto-close) Integrated dew heater: Yes (auto dew-point based or manual intensity with storage) Connectivity: USB-C + built-in Wi-Fi (hotspot or client mode) Software control: ASCOM 7 and ASCOM Alpaca supported Size: 250mm diameter x 8mm thickness Weight: 400g What’s in the box?
