Pecora P-53 Primer 30oz Container

Pecora P-53-VOC is a two-part, low-viscosity epoxy primer designed to penetrate and seal porous substrates such as concrete and masonry. It enhances the adhesion of Pecora Synthacalk GC-2+ and other sealants to both porous and non-porous surfaces. This primer is formulated for use in demanding environments, including immersion and splash exposure applications, where surface integrity and long-term performance are critical. It provides reliable performance for horizontal and vertical applications and is compatible with concrete, masonry, and properly prepared steel surfaces. The two components—Part A (resin) and Part B (activator)—are mixed in a 1:1 ratio and applied with a brush or phenolic core roller. Once cured, it forms a tough, durable bond that promotes long-lasting sealant adhesion, even in harsh environmental conditions. Pecora P-53-VOC is suitable for industrial and commercial use and is VOC-compliant, making it safer for application in regulated areas. Key applications include: Priming porous concrete, masonry, and metal surfaces before sealant installation Improving adhesion for joint sealants in below-grade, waterproofing, and high-performance applications Sealing substrates to prevent moisture and chemical intrusion in exposed or submerged conditions
