Peak Brushed Brass Sconce/Ceiling by SkLOThe Peak Sconce/Ceiling light is a small conical form which fits against the wall or ceiling supporting a lit handblown glass diffuser. The glass diffusers are available in two shapes and in both "dipped" glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and "textured" glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges. On the wall for bedside, for bathroom vanity lighting, or on the ceiling for entryways, hallways or smaller spaces. Two different shapes of handblown glass diffusers, and nine different glass colors and textures allow for many different personalities. Glass shaped by handThe glass shapes of the Peak Sconce/Ceiling are formed by hand, allowing them to be slightly imperfect to express their handmade origins. The “dipped” glass options feature an irregular, open mouth, created by double-dipping the piece into the molten glass crucible, followed by breaking the piece from the pipe and fire-polishing the opening – a purposeful expression of craft and the act of glassblowing. The “textured” glass diffusers have no opening. Their surface is frosted and features a subtle pattern of lines etched into the glass for a moody and classic look. Shape and proportionThe Peak Collection is all about geometry and composition. The bold lines of the brass cones contrast with handblown glass shapes of the lit diffusers.
