Hadley Pollet Peach Lotus Pillow 18 x 18

The Hadley Pollet Lotus line of home textiles is inspired by Hadley's travels to Taiwan and her visits to many temples there, almost all of which have lotus ponds or feature the lotus flower in some way.  The lotus flower is a representation of the womb of the universe – where all things are born. These flowers are also a symbol for overcoming adversity and retaining purity of spirit through life’s challenges, as lotus flowers are most commonly found in swampy, difficult terrain – emerging from the dark, murky water pristine and beautiful. For Buddhists specifically, this flower also represents a connection between the universe’s soul and their own. Yet Hindus have special connection with lotus flower symbolism, as well, because in Sanskrit, it’s the character for enlightenment. These pillows will enlighten any room.  100% Cotton Canvas: • Made from 100% cotton canvas • Sturdy, textured fabric • Easy care, machine wash in cold water with a phosphate-free detergent, lay flat to dry, do not bleach, can also be dry cleaned Cotton Linen Canvas: • Made from a specially developed 68% cotton/32% linen fibers • Printed with permanent reactive digital inks mean your pillowcase print will never fade or wash away • Invisible zipper sewn in at the bottom for easy care.
