Georgia Peach Syrup

This is the peach syrup that tastes like an actual peach — the kind you'd grab off a roadside stand in August, soft enough to bruise if you held it too tight. We make it from real peach puree and white peach extract, so the flavor is fully orchard, not the fluorescent-orange "peach" that lives in convenience-store iced tea. Add a half-ounce to iced tea and you've made the perfect Southern porch-sipper. Stir it into bourbon and lemon juice and you're three minutes from a peach whiskey sour. Splash it into Prosecco for a Bellini-without-the-blender, or pour it over crushed ice with sparkling water for a peach soda that disappears faster than you'd expect. Tasting Notes: ripe yellow peach, soft white peach finish, hint of orchard tartness, gentle floral lift The Short Version: A pure peach syrup made from real peach puree and white peach extract — bright, juicy, and orchard-fresh, no artificial peach flavor in sight. Ingredients: Filtered water, organic cane sugar, peach puree, white peach extract, citric acid. Perfect For: Iced tea drinkers, bourbon-cocktail makers, brunch hosts, late-summer mocktail lovers, and anyone who orders a peach Bellini at brunch. Best Enjoyed In: Peach iced tea (½ oz syrup + 8 oz tea), peach Bellinis (½ oz syrup + 4 oz Prosecco), peach whiskey sours, bourbon-and-peach old fashioneds, or ½ oz syrup with 6 oz sparkling water for a peach spritz. The Portland Syrups Promise: Ethically sourced, carefully brewed, and bottled in glass jars right here in SE Portland, Oregon. Frequently Asked Questions Q: How long does the syrup last after opening? A: Our syrups are shelf-stable for 24 months unopened. Once opened, refrigerate and enjoy within 6 months. Q: Does Georgia Peach syrup taste like real peach or artificial? A: Real, all the way. We use actual peach puree and white peach extract — both made from real fruit — rather than artificial peach flavoring. The result tastes like a ripe summer peach, not the fluorescent-orange "peach" you find in convenience-store iced tea. The difference is immediate, especially when it's mixed with sparkling water or unsweetened tea. Q: Can I use Georgia Peach syrup in smoothies or baking? A: Smoothies, absolutely — it's an easy way to add real peach flavor to a yogurt or oat milk smoothie without buying out-of-season fruit. For baking, the syrup adds peach flavor and a touch of moisture but doesn't replicate the texture of fresh peaches. It's best used in glazes, dressings, drizzles over pound cake or ice cream, or as a peach swirl in cheesecake.
