Peaceful Pastures

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters." Psalm 23:1-2 This atmospheric oil painting depicts a shepherd figure in white robes standing among his flock in a serene landscape. Rendered in soft, muted tones of olive, beige, and gray, the impressionistic brushwork creates a dream-like quality. Olive trees form a protective backdrop, while the delicate balance of light and shadow evokes spiritual tranquility. The composition speaks to themes of care, protection, and faithful stewardship.
