PEACE ALL AROUND BANGLE

Peace all around is our wish for the world in 22 languages. A message inspired by our namesake, ARTICLE22, which we named after the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Everyone, as a member of society, has the right to social security and is entitled to realization, through national effort and international co-operation and in accordance with the organization and resources of each State, of the economic, social and cultural rights indispensable for his dignity and the free development of his personality.   Eleanor Roosevelt was the driving force behind the 1948 charter of liberties. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which entered into force in 2016, practically extend the UDHR. The SDGs are universally recognized goals to reduce poverty, inequalities, and climate change by 2030. Lives safe from UXO is the special 18th goal for Laos.   Each ARTICLE22 piece is a modern heirloom – an actual piece of history redesigned with intention – that inspires action toward our future, individually and collectively. Discover which languages are engraved : Mandarin  和平, Spanish  PAZ, English  Peace, Tibetan, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian  мир, Japanese  平和, German  FRIEDEN, Malya/Indonesian  KEDAMAIAN, Vietnamese  HÒA BÌNH, Korean  평화, French  PAIX, Greek, Turkish  BARI, Italian  PACE, Thai, Polish  POKÓJ, Dutch  FRED, Lao, Gaelic/Irish  Síocháin, Hmong  KEV TIAJ TUS   Each piece gives back to support traditional Laotian artisan livelihoods, village development, community endeavors and further de-mining efforts.
