An outstanding producer in our trial gardens, Pea-Licious bears extra-long pods that average 10-11 peas per pod—and two pods per stem. The sturdy, compact plants have more tendrils than foliage, so the plants can self-support, even without a trellis. Harvest is easy, too. The bright green pods stand out against the blue-tinted leaves, and the upright plants make picking easy. The peas are loaded with a sweet flavor—and very slow to get starchy.
