PDM Cassili

Cassili by Parfums de Marly is a joyful, sweet, and modern floral-fruity fragrance with a luxurious twist. It’s known for its creamy texture and vibrant fruitiness, wrapped in a soft, powdery floral bouquet. Cassili is one of the more playful offerings in Parfums de Marly's line, giving off a vibe that’s both elegant and approachable. Fragrance Notes: Top Notes: Red Currant, Bulgarian Rose, Floral Notes Middle Notes: Plum, Mimosa, Frangipani, Petalia Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Vanilla Scent Profile Opening: Cassili opens with a burst of juicy red currant and delicate rose, giving it a fruity, slightly tart start. There’s a hint of fresh florals here, which is refreshing but not overly sharp, as the red currant’s sweetness adds a juicy element. Heart: In the heart, the fragrance turns richer and more exotic with plum, mimosa, and frangipani. The plum adds a lush sweetness, while mimosa and frangipani provide a soft, powdery floral texture. Petalia (a molecule with a light floral and fruity scent) enhances the playfulness of the blend, balancing it with an airy, almost breezy floral quality. Dry-Down: As Cassili dries down, it becomes creamy and warm with tonka bean, sandalwood, and vanilla. Tonka and vanilla provide a sweet, almost gourmand effect without being too heavy. Sandalwood adds a smooth, woody finish, grounding the sweetness and creating a well-rounded, creamy warmth. Performance Longevity: Cassili has excellent longevity, typically lasting 6-8 hours on the skin, with traces that linger even longer on clothes. Projection: It has moderate to strong projection in the first few hours, leaving a lovely trail that’s noticeable but not overpowering. After a couple of hours, it settles into a softer sillage that makes it inviting for close encounters. Best For Occasions: This fragrance is versatile and can be worn year-round, although it truly shines in spring and summer with its vibrant and fruity-floral profile. It’s great for daytime events, brunch, or a night out, thanks to its fun and refined sweetness. Time of Day: Cassili is ideal for daytime wear, where its light, sweet florals can shine. However, it transitions beautifully into evening wear, as its warm, creamy base becomes more prominent over time. Overall Impression Cassili by Parfums de Marly is a delightful mix of fruity and floral notes with a smooth, creamy undertone. It’s youthful and playful yet has an elegance that keeps it sophisticated, appealing to those who enjoy sweet but refined fragrances. With its balanced blend of red currant, exotic florals, and vanilla, Cassili offers a rich experience that’s both comforting and exhilarating. This fragrance is perfect for someone who loves sweet, fruity-floral perfumes with a touch of opulence and a creamy, sensual finish.
