Inspired by effortless 1960s Italian style, Botticelli is a seamless top-down DK-weight sweater featuring a relaxed fit, subtle shaping, and clean, polished finishing details. Designed with versatility in mind, the pattern includes both a sleeveless shell and a long-sleeve sweater, allowing you to create a garment suited to every season. Elegant without being fussy and feminine without sacrificing comfort, Botticelli is designed to become a wardrobe staple. Its classic silhouette and thoughtful proportions showcase the beauty of your chosen yarn while offering endless styling possibilities. Whether worn on its own during warmer months or layered throughout the cooler seasons, Botticelli is a timeless knit you’ll reach for again and again. Construction Botticelli is worked seamlessly from the top down. Construction begins at the back neck and is shaped through the back yoke. Stitches are then held while the front yoke is worked by picking up stitches at the shoulders. Once the front and back yokes are complete, they are joined and the body is worked in the round to the hem. Sleeves are picked up and worked from the armholes, allowing the garment to be tried on as you knit and making it easy to customize both body and sleeve length for your preferred fit.
