Colored lights indicate AC charge status and battery conditioning. The PCS reverses the normal discharge rate that occurs in unused batteries and removes lead sulfate crystals that build up on battery plates over time. This unit has the capacity to maintain six 6-Volt batteries in twelve volt sets. Power supply is reverse polarity protected and the battery cannot be overcharged.
