Pattern - Railings, by Janina Kallio, ready to ship

Railings, by Janina Kallio This delicate crescent shawl features a gorgeous lace mesh pattern that gives movement to this sophisticated wrap. "Railings is a striking and geometric shawl that takes its inspiration from 1930s Art Deco. The shawl has pivoting bands of eyelets that are intersected by mesh lace stripes at their turning points. Together they create a clean and airy look with a dynamic feel. You begin the shawl at the neck and work your way down. Railings is a surprisingly simple, yet interesting knit. And as it uses just one skein of fingering weight yarn, it’s perfect for that treasured single skein in your stash." --Janina Kallio Use any one of our 100g/400yd fingering weight gradient cakes, or a 100g/400yd fingering weight semi-solid, and you can knit up your own! Check here for ready-to-ship kits using this pattern.
