Following a Groovy Board Vs Pantograph Quilting How does quilting with Pattern Perfect compare to tracing a paper pantograph with a laser light? These quilting methods are very similar! You will quilt from the back of the frame, using rear handlebars to control your Grace / Qnique longarm.  The main difference is when tracing with a laser light, you still have full freedom of movement. This means if you don't stay focused, you can easily wander off the line and quilt wacky designs. With these quilting groovy boards, you are locked into a channel with the stylus - literally forced to stay on track! Yes, you may still quilt a few wobbles as you get to know a new design. But you'll generally quilt the same, repeating patterns more precisely when locked into a groovy board system. The only way to quilt more perfectly? Computerized quilting with QCT 6!
