Patsy Cline True Love - A Standards Collection CD

Patsy Cline: True Love – A Standards Collection (MCA Nashville/UME), released April 25, 2000, is the first compilation ever issued of Patsy Cline only singing pop standards. Each of the 14 selections has been digitally remastered from the original tapes. The subject of the acclaimed 1985 motion picture Sweet Dreams starring Jessica Lange and Always, the recent touring stage production about her life, Cline has influenced not only female country singers but pop singers as well, everyone from Linda Ronstadt to k.d. lang to LeAnn Rimes. True Love is a unique revelation of a voice which crosses genres and generations.
