Materials & Care Every panel of this coat — the textured knit, the woven plaid, the patchwork details — is crafted from 100% cotton, so it breathes beautifully and only gets better with wear. The lace heart appliqués are delicate and deserve a little extra love at laundry time — always check the garment label before washing. Why You'll Love It At Beach Gypsy, we're drawn to pieces that feel like art you can wear — and this coat delivers exactly that. Three distinct fabric textures, lace heart details, and a longline silhouette that's equal parts coverage and ease. No two coats are exactly alike, which means yours is truly one of a kind. That's the kind of thing we live for. Frequently Asked Questions Is this coat true to size? This one is cut with a relaxed, oversized fit — perfect for layering. With a laid-flat bust of 23.5 inches (47 inches around) and an 18-inch shoulder width, it layers beautifully over a knit or light top. If you prefer a closer fit, size down. Does the mixed-panel construction mean each coat looks slightly different? Yes — and that's exactly the point. Because each coat is assembled from multiple fabric panels, the exact placement and proportion may vary slightly from piece to piece. That's what makes it handcrafted, not mass-produced. What is the full length of this coat? It measures 45 inches from shoulder to hem — a true longline silhouette that typically falls around mid-calf depending on your height. How should I care for the lace heart appliqués? Those little hearts deserve gentle treatment. Always check the garment care label first, and we recommend hand washing or a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag to keep the appliqués and mixed-panel construction looking their best. Does this coat have any closures or is it fully open-front? Fully open-front — no buttons, snaps, or zipper. It's designed to be worn as a draped layer, which is honestly the most Beach Gypsy way to wear it.
