Patchouli Essential Oil Wild Crafted

Earthy, sweet, and unmistakably itself. Patchouli is one of the most distinctive and polarizing aromas in aromatherapy, and this wildcrafted expression is the one that converts skeptics. Valley of the Moon's Patchouli is a wildcrafted essential oil steam distilled from Pogostemon patchouli, sourced from East India. Thick, brown to greenish-brown, and richly aromatic, it carries the deep, earthy sweetness of the plant at its most authentic. Earthy but floral, with a hint of sweetness and a herbaceous note that is clean and grounded rather than damp or musty, this is Patchouli as it should be. On a metaphysical level, it is said to have a powerful action on the psychic centers, and its long history as an aphrodisiac, grounding oil, and skin care staple speaks for itself. "This is the best patchouli essential oil that I have ever used. Earthy but flowery with a hint of sweet. It still has a herbaceous note, but without the smell of moldy and damp that most seem to have." — Verified Customer The Oil Botanical Name: Pogostemon patchouli Plant Part: Leaves Extraction: Steam distilled Cultivation: Wild crafted Appearance: Thick, brown to greenish-brown liquid Aroma: Strong, sweet, and earthy with a floral depth and clean herbaceous note Perfumery Note: Base note Why It Works Aphrodisiac and Balancing: Long celebrated as an aphrodisiac, Patchouli is also deeply balancing and calming, bringing emotional equilibrium and a warm, grounded sensuality.
