Passion Fruit

Passion Fruit is a vigorous and tropical climbing vine valued for its unique, round to oval-shaped fruit and distinctive flowers. This evergreen plant is characterized by its glossy green leaves and tendrils that help it climb and spread. The flowers are large, showy, and intricate, with a central arrangement of filaments and a distinctive, fringed corona. The fruit produced by Passiflora edulis is small to medium-sized, with a tough outer rind that turns wrinkled when ripe. Inside, the jelly-like pulp contains numerous small, black seeds surrounded by aromatic and flavorful juice.
