Partners in Death

Death follows Jacob Daniels wherever he goes. Private investigator Jacob Daniels has a knack for knowing things he shouldn't. Some call it being psychic. He calls it a pain in the ass. When Jacob is hired as security for Roland Britton, he stops a would-be assassin named Nina from killing his client. His intervention triggers a chain of events that puts both him and Nina in the crosshairs of a professional hitman. As bodies pile up around them, Jacob must uncover the connection between Nina and a vengeful ghost named Micki who's determined to see Britton pay for past sins. Jacob races against time to protect Nina while dodging assassins coming from every direction. He'll need to use his unique abilities to their fullest potential if he hopes to keep them both alive long enough to expose the dark truth. Will Jacob's psychic senses help him unravel the web of deception before it's too late? Or will his growing connection to Nina become the distraction that finally gets him killed? A.W. Powers
