Parshanei HaMikra (PB)

Parshanei HaMikra, is a first-of-its-kind book that explores the methodologies of the great commentators of the Bible throughout the generations – from Targum Onkelos, through medieval commentators, such as Rashi, Ibn Ezra, and Ramban, to commentators of recent generations, such as Malbim, the Netziv, and others. Through a study of their lives and their commentaries, this book uncovers the depth of their vision and the foundations of their thinking. Rabbanit Dr. Avigail Rock z”l was a sought-after lecturer in Tanakh and an admired and beloved teacher to hundreds of students in Beit Shemesh, throughout Israel, and in the United States. She excelled in her ability to touch the hearts of her students and raise the level not only of their Torah knowledge but also of their spiritual and moral sensitivity. Tragically, Rabbanit Dr. Rock passed away in 2019 at age 48, leaving behind a husband and five children. Her lectures and writings are collected on avigailrock.com.
