Parfums De Marly Valaya

Valaya is Parfums de Marly's luminous floral-fruity entry, launched in 2023 and created by Quentin Bisch — described by founder Julien Sprecher as evoking "the sensation of a veil of linen on the skin," a sensual and elegant perfume brimming with contrast that's delicate yet incredibly compelling. Valaya quickly gained popularity and became one of the brand's bestsellers, bringing an ultra-clean, minimalist aesthetic to the PdM women's collection. The opening is a slightly citrus, aldehydic blast — bergamot, mandarin, and white peach arrive with a bright, fresh quality before a melange of white florals emerges. The heart blossoms with white floral nuances from orange flower and nympheal, enriched by the subtle earthiness of vetiver — creating an airy, almost ethereal accord that feels clean and modern rather than heavy or traditionally feminine. The base unveils a sensual and modern blend of akigalawood, ambrofix, and soft musk, wrapping the wearer in a sophisticated, airy warmth. On most skin types, it consistently performs for 8-10 hours, often even longer. The projection is moderate to strong for the first 3-4 hours, creating a beautiful scent bubble around the wearer. Community comparisons land most often on Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense, and reviewers note it shares Delina's DNA — but Valaya leans lighter, cleaner, and more minimalist than either. If you're drawn to fresh white florals with modern musk-wood bases that feel effortlessly elegant without being loud, a decant is the perfect way to discover why this became a bestseller so quickly.
