Paradise Awaits

Newport Beach has been considered the premier surfing spot on the entire west coast of North America. Home to the world famous Wedge, which, under the right conditions, produces waves as high as 30 feet, board and bodysurfers from all over risk injury or worse in the unpredictable and unstable waters. Nearby, though, waters are much more calm and inviting to casual beachgoers. Wide sandy beaches, the largest recreational boat harbor on the West Coast, and tourist-friendly local attractions are among the reasons more than 6.9 million visitors come to Newport Beach each year. Visitors can find a bit of paradise on the sand close to the shore. As Seth found early one morning, “It was just before a meeting. I had time to spare.
