Parachute PMX / X-Hopper

Parachute PMX / X-Hopper — The Grasshopper That Tricks Trout (And Your Fishing Buddies) Ever wanted to fool a trout with something that looks, moves, and smells like dinner? Meet the Parachute PMX / X-Hopper: a dry fly built to impersonate grasshoppers so convincingly even the pickiest trout RSVP "yes." Ideal for meadows, fields, and those suspiciously calm pools where fish pretend not to be hungry. For anglers who fish where grasshoppers rule. For days when surface action matters. For Life, Adventure-Ready moments that deserve better flies. Key Features & Design Imitates grasshoppers: Designed to mimic various hopper species—trout see lunch, you see action. Dry fly construction: Floats naturally on the surface for realistic presentation and long-lasting angling sessions. Best used in: Meadows, fields, and shoreline pockets where grasshoppers are abundant. Multiple variations available: Different PMX Hopper styles exist to match local hopper sizes and colorations. Performance & Benefits This isn’t a pretty fly for the shelf—it's built to get eaten. The Parachute PMX / X-Hopper offers lifelike silhouette and buoyancy so you can: Trigger surface strikes where other flies just languish below. Match hatch-like conditions when hopper activity is high, turning stuck weekends into hero stories.
