X -Hopper

The PMX Hopper is designed to imitate various grasshoppers, which are a common food source for trout. PMX Hopper is a very effective dry fly, and it is often used in situations where grasshoppers are abundant, such as meadows and fields. There are many different variations of the PMX Hopper, but they all share some common features. The fly typically has a body made of elk hair or foam, with rubber legs and a parachute hackle. The parachute hackle helps to keep the fly afloat, and the rubber legs make it look more like a real grasshopper. The PMX Hopper can be fished in a variety of ways. It can be cast upstream and allowed to drift downstream, or it can be twitched and popped to make it look like a grasshopper hopping around. The PMX Hopper is a versatile fly that can be used to catch a variety of fish, including trout, bass, and panfish. Colors: Chartreuse, Red, Tan or Yellow Sizes:# 06 - # 16
