Bourbon lovers crave it for transforming home mixology into an indulgent, barrel-kissed ritual that's as effortlessly delicious as it is rarefied. The Pappy Van Winkle Espresso Elixir is a 17 fl. oz. cocktail mixer crafted through a collaborative partnership between Bittermilk, a craft cocktail specialist based in Charleston, South Carolina, and Good Folks Coffee, known for their bourbon barrel-aged espresso beans. This hand-crafted mixer combines brewed bourbon barrel-aged coffee with a sophisticated blend of demerara sugar, burnt sugar, cacao fines, vanilla extract, and other premium ingredients to create a versatile cocktail base. Rich, bold, and deeply aromatic with the signature character of bourbon barrel-aged coffee layered with hints of charred oak and caramel sweetness. Complex and creamy, balancing the intensity of barrel-aged espresso with buttery caramel, velvety vanilla, burnt sugar, demerara notes, and subtle cacao—delivering depth without heaviness. Smooth and decadent, with lingering warmth from the charred oak and a refined sweetness that invites another sip. The elixir features bourbon barrel-aged coffee beans that impart sophisticated oak and caramel notes typically found in premium whiskey, elevating it beyond standard coffee mixers. Each bottle is hand-crafted with real, ground coffee beans rather than artificial flavoring, which may result in fine sediment or natural frothiness—markers of authentic craftsmanship. For an Espresso Martini, use a 1:1 ratio with vodka, shake vigorously with ice, and serve in a coupe glass topped with three coffee beans. For an Espresso Old Fashioned, use a 1:4 ratio for a more balanced sweetness. The mixer also works beautifully in cold brew applications for a morning pick-me-up. After opening, refrigerate and enjoy within four weeks for optimal flavor. Frequently Asked Questions What is Pappy Van Winkle Espresso Elixir?
