Papillon in Copper + Brass

The French word for butterfly is papillon. It is pronounced “pap-ee-yon” and I have always loved the sound of that word. No matter what you call it, this beautiful creature represents transformation, change and hope. There is a certain air of mystery that accompanies a spiritual rebirth. Change can be unsettling, but it can also be exhilarating. With love at the center of it, you are bound to flutter happily to brand new heights.   With a nod to the art deco era, this beauty spreads her lovely brass wings against a hammered copper background – the perfect balance of old world and new world.  Let it be a reminder of where you have been and were you are headed. This necklace measures approximately 18” in length, including the decorative links, and features a toggle closure. The butterfly medallion is approximately 1” in diameter. Made of lead-and-nickel-safe materials. Ready to ship in 1 to 3 business days.
