This compact 3.75 x 5.5 inch journal features a flexible cover, 208 lined pages, Smyth-sewn binding, an elastic band closure and a back cover memento pouch. Product Story The Spinola Hours design is based on the Spinola Hours, a lavishly illuminated Flemish prayer book from the 16th century. Known for its intricate borders, refined color and extraordinary attention to detail, the manuscript reflects a period when devotional books could also be remarkable works of art. This Paperblanks Flexis edition is part of the brand’s collaboration with the J. Paul Getty Museum, where the original manuscript is held. In the Mini format, the design brings that historic illumination into a small, practical journal for notes, lists, observations and everyday writing.
