Kashmiri Paper Mache Decorative Tray

Product Note There are pieces that simply serve, and there are pieces that soften a room with detail, finish, and memory. This Kashmiri Paper Mache art tray belongs to the second kind. Handcrafted and hand-painted, it carries the ornamental richness for which Kashmiri surface traditions are admired, offering a decorative presence that feels refined, layered, and quietly luminous. Placed on a coffee table, console, sideboard, or shelf, this tray brings a composed beauty to the everyday. Its painted surface, intricate detailing, and lacquered finish invite close looking. Whether styled beneath candles and keepsakes or left on its own as a statement surface, it lends a room a sense of collectedness rather than decoration. At House of Saaj, we curate such works for homes that value continuity of craft, not passing novelty. This tray is not merely an accessory for the table. It is a small inheritance of handwork—made to bring color, pattern, and cultural memory into contemporary interiors with grace.
