But sewing your first pair of trousers can be intimidating, which is why this course was designed to guide even adventurous sewing beginners to wonderful results. This class takes you step by step through everything you need to know about sewing trousers, from picking the right fabrics and notions to assembling an innovative flex waistband and creating perfect welt pockets.  The course features the Meriam Trousers (sizes 0-32), designed to be classic but comfortable thanks to an innovative flex waistband that expands by 3-4" as you sit, plus the option of a back piece with a 1" full bum adjustment already built in. You shouldn't have to compromise on style, fit, or comfort just because you're curvy, and by the end of this course, you'll have the skills and confidence to create beautiful tailored trousers that work perfectly for your body!
