Panoptes 65 35mm T2.2

The Zeiss Panoptes 65 35mm T2.2 offers a sweeping wide-angle perspective tailored for large-format cinematography. Striking a balance between immersive width and natural rendering, the 35mm provides a dynamic field of view that is ideal for establishing shots, tight interiors, and bringing subjects into close relationship with their environments. It delivers the signature Panoptes look with excellent distortion control, ensuring straight lines remain true even at the edges of the expansive 65mm frame. The Panoptes 65 series represents Zeiss’ dedicated entry into native 65mm cinematography, offering a complete family of modern large-format cinema primes optimized for today’s highest-resolution digital systems. Covering a 59.9mm image circle and available exclusively in LPL mount, Panoptes 65 lenses combine precise optical correction with production-focused mechanics, standardized gear positions, and Zeiss eXtended Data support. Rather than chasing heavily stylized vintage aesthetics, the Panoptes line emphasizes consistency, controlled flare behavior, gentle skin rendering, and reliable performance for narrative, commercial, and VFX-intensive productions working at the highest levels of large-format acquisition.
