Pani

PANI By Fernanda Rocha Florida, 2013. Silver halide color photograph printed on Fuji Deep Matte Velvet paper.     ABOUT THIS SERIES - ATLANTIS Atlantis is Fernanda Rocha's depiction of the sea as it might seem to be in the imagination of someone who has never experienced it. The images are at once surreal, playful, powerful, meditative and foreboding. They embody not only an envisioned “perfect” physical sea, but also the emotional sea inside all of us. Atlantis is based on a short story from Acapulco 214, written by author Nani Power. The photographs were published alongside the story in Issue 22 of Rattapallax Magazine.
