Panel Mover – 2,400 Lb Capacity – Removable Uprights – Multiple Caster Options

Overview Office partition panels, cubicle walls, drywall sheets, plywood, mattresses, banquet tables, and room dividers all share the same transport challenge — they are large, flat, and awkward to carry by hand. This panel mover solves that problem with a heavy duty rolling platform and three removable uprights that keep panels and sheet materials standing upright, supported, and stable during transport. Rated at 2,400 lbs, it handles the heaviest modular wall systems and commercial sheet goods with ease. The 27½” wide platform fits through standard 32″ and 36″ doorways, making it practical for indoor facility moves where corridor width matters. Eight caster configurations — spanning 5″, 6″, and 8″ wheels in phenolic and quiet poly options — let you match this mover cart to your specific flooring and noise requirements. Every unit is built from robotically welded 16-gauge steel and manufactured by Raymond Products in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a lifetime warranty. Features and Benefits The robotic-welded 16-gauge tubular steel platform provides a rigid, consistent base that supports heavy loads without flexing. Three removable uprights — each 26″ tall, constructed from 1″ x 16-gauge welded steel tubing, and spaced 11¾” apart — keep panels, sheets, and flat materials in an upright position during transport. When the job calls for a flat platform instead, the uprights lift out of their sockets in seconds and store compactly. The platform and all uprights are coated with non-mar, skid-resistant red vinyl. This finish serves three purposes: it grips the material being transported to prevent slipping, it cushions the load against scratches and surface damage, and it protects finished flooring from scuff marks. The powder-coated steel base provides corrosion resistance and long-term durability under daily commercial use. Two caster material options address different flooring environments. Phenolic casters are the standard choice for hard, smooth surfaces like concrete, industrial tile, and warehouse flooring. Quiet poly casters absorb vibration, reduce rolling noise, and are gentler on polished concrete, tile, hardwood, and laminate — making them the preferred option for offices, hotels, and other noise-sensitive environments. Optional brake kits provide secure positioning during loading and unloading, especially on inclines or ramps. Available Caster Configurations Model 3825 — 5″ Phenolic, 2 fixed / 2 swivel Model 3850 — 5″ Phenolic, all swivel Model 3851 — 5″ Quiet Poly, 2 fixed / 2 swivel Model 3852 — 5″ Quiet Poly, all swivel Model 3826 — 6″ Phenolic, 2 fixed / 2 swivel Model 3860 — 6″ Phenolic, all swivel Model 3828 — 8″ Quiet Poly, 2 fixed / 2 swivel Model 3880 — 8″ Quiet Poly, all swivel Fixed/swivel configurations track straighter over long distances and are best for facilities with long corridors between storage and work areas. All-swivel configurations provide maximum maneuverability for tight turns, narrow aisles, and crowded work spaces. Larger casters (6″ and 8″) roll more easily over thresholds, expansion joints, and minor surface irregularities. Applications Office facilities teams are the largest user group for this panel mover. Reconfiguring cubicle layouts, relocating partition walls during renovations, and moving modular office systems between floors or buildings all require a mover cart that can handle heavy, tall, flat panels without damaging them or the surrounding environment. The 2,400 lb capacity supports the heaviest commercial partition systems, and the non-mar vinyl coating protects both the panels and the finished office floors. Hotels and convention centers use this mover dolly to transport banquet tables, room dividers, and staging equipment between ballrooms, storage rooms, and service corridors. Moving companies rely on it for mattresses, bed frames, and large furniture pieces. Manufacturing facilities and workshops use the flat platform (with uprights removed) to shuttle raw materials, sheet goods, and work-in-progress between stations. Schools, churches, and universities depend on it for moving folding tables, room dividers, and stage equipment for events and assemblies. Selection Assistance Start by identifying your primary use case and flooring type. For office environments with polished floors, tile, or hardwood, the quiet poly caster models eliminate noise and protect surfaces. For warehouses, workshops, and industrial floors, phenolic casters provide the hardest, most durable rolling surface. If your facility has thresholds, expansion joints, or minor surface imperfections along the transport route, choose 6″ or 8″ casters for better ground clearance. If you regularly move panels taller than 5 feet — such as full-height office partitions, room dividers, or oversized sheet goods — consider the Panel Mover with Extra Tall Uprights for additional vertical support. For even heavier industrial loads up to 3,200 lbs, the Heavy Duty Panel and Sheet Mover series offers a larger platform and reinforced construction. Need help choosing the right configuration?
