Panda Monk Sweeping

Sweeping Up After the Cherry BlossomsA panda in saffron robes works a broom across worn temple steps while pink petals keep falling on both sides. It's drawn in a bold graphic style, flat color and heavy outlines, the look that comes out of manga and old Japanese woodblock prints. The robe glows orange against grey stone and a pale sky, with a temple gate sitting quietly behind. There's a gentle joke in it. The petals will never stop, so neither will the sweeping, and the panda seems fine with that. Hang it where you want some calm with a sense of humor: a reading nook, an entryway, a meditation corner, or a kid's room that needs something more thoughtful than cartoons. Pairs well with Animal Artwork, Bear Paintings and Spiritual Art. --- The Broom Versus the BlossomsA robed panda sweeps petals that keep right on falling. Graphic, Zen, and quietly funny, with warm orange set against soft pink and grey. A print that holds its own on the wall.
