Palo Santo Wood

BLESSINGS • CREATIVITY • CLEANSING Palo Santo, known as “holy wood”, has a long history and is revered for its highly spiritual properties. It has the power to purify, attract positive energy, clear negative energy and bring physical and spiritual healing. A mystical tree, Palo Santo grows wild in the tropical forests of Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. Healers and shamans of South America believe that Palo Santo has a strong spirit that has to be treated with respect. The spirit continues to live in the wood long after the tree has fallen and will assist in restoring your physical and energetic wellbeing. The beautiful scent is fresh and natural, Palo Santo is earthy, with a sweet citrus smell that instantly changes the energy inside any room. Palo Santo is also perfect to use before meditating, it helps you relax, become grounded and feel connected to yourself. ✨HOW TO USE✨ Light your Palo Santo stick. Let the stick catch fire, and allow it to burn for about 30 seconds. Then gently blow it out. If needed, you can blow on the embers to keep the smoke going throughout your cleansing process. Say aloud or silently, 'I ask that the plant spirit of Palo Santo please bring blessings into the space.' To bless yourself, the space, or crystals, simply allow the smoke and rich smell of the Palo Santo to fill the room. To fill your space with blessings, start at the front door and walk clockwise through it with your Palo Santo. When finished, place the Palo Santo stick in a fireproof container. The glow at the end of the stick will eventually go out on its own.
