Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does it actually smell like on the skin? A rounded rose and freesia bouquet at first, turning softer and powdery as the white musk comes through. It stays close and clean rather than sweet. How does it compare with Bright Poppy? Bright Poppy opens on bergamot and finishes on cedar wood, so it is brighter and drier. Blooming Ballet is the properly floral one of the pair, with rose at the centre and a powdery musk finish. Is it suitable for the office or for a wedding? Both. As an eau de toilette it wears politely at close range, so one or two sprays suit an office, and three suit an evening or a celebration. When is the best time to apply it? On clean, slightly damp skin straight after showering — the musk base holds better on skin that is not completely dry. Apply before dressing to protect delicate fabrics.
