This cool weather plant has a slight mustard taste and does best in the cool weather of early spring or fall. Pak Choi is a long-standing vegetable that is used like celery or greens. It is common throughout most of China and Asia. GROWING TIPS Start seed indoors 2-4 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-80 degrees. Transplant to the garden after danger of your average last frost has passed.
