Helena Tynell Pair of ‘Pala’ Vases c. 1964 Glass 4.5”H x 4.25”W x 4.25”D A pair of early production “Pala” vases designed by Helena Tynell (1918-2016) for the Finnish glassworks company Riihimäki. Tynell’s forms, organic yet elegant, experiment with the expressive and optical qualities of glass. This design is thought to have been inspired by a chunk of ice (“pala” translates to piece or chunk). This item requires special shipping and handling.
