Painted Yellow Angel Ornament Hand Chiseled From Recycled Steel Oil Drums By Haitian Artisans Georges Liautaud

Introduce a radiant, tactile note to any space with the Painted Yellow Angel Ornament. Hand-chiseled from recycled steel oil drums by Haitian artisans, this piece carries a storied craft tradition— Georges Liautaud’s late-1950s method of sketching a design on a flattened drum and cutting it by hand with a mallet and chisel. Measuring approximately 3.75" x 6" x 1.5", each angel is a unique sculpture, with final dimensions and finish varying slightly to reflect its handmade character. More than decoration, it’s a conversation piece that blends sustainable artistry with timeless charm. The Painted Yellow finish catches light with a warm glow, making it a standout accent for shelves, mantels, entryways, or sheltered outdoor spaces in a garden or patio corner. Handmade from recycled steel—original material repurposed into meaningful art, supporting Haitian craftsmanship and a heritage technique dating back to the 1950s. One-of-a-kind character—each piece is hand-chiseled, ensuring texture, lines, and finish vary slightly, so no two angels are exactly alike. Versatile display—ideal for home or garden display, from a quiet mantel to a sunlit balcony niche, adding a warm, durable focal point wherever it’s placed. Compact, thoughtful size—approximately 3.75" x 6" x 1.5" makes it easy to incorporate into seasonal displays or everyday decor. Whether you’re shopping for an eco-conscious gift, a gardener who appreciates art with a story, or someone who simply loves handcrafted pieces with global flair, the Painted Yellow Angel Ornament delivers a meaningful, durable centerpiece that celebrates craft, community, and sustainable design. Embrace a piece of Haitian artistry that’s as individual as your space.
