Painted Fall Tea Towel

Fall cooking is wet work — brining, braising, the roasting pan that needs wiping before it goes back in — and this is the part of the season where a towel that holds seven times its weight stops being a spec and starts being the reason you reach for the same one every time. The leaves are painted rather than printed flat, orange through gold to brown on white, loose enough that it doesn't read as a craft-store autumn. It also doesn't wrinkle, which matters more than it sounds: this is a towel that hangs on the oven door from the first cold morning to the day after Thanksgiving, and it looks intentional the whole time. A good gift for the person who changes her kitchen with the season and has run out of ideas that aren't a scented candle. Why It Works Holds seven times its weight, which is what fall cooking actually asks of a towel Painted leaves, not a flat graphic — it reads as a piece of art rather than seasonal merchandise Never wrinkles, so a whole season on the oven door still looks deliberate White ground keeps it light, so the kitchen doesn't go dark in October Perfect For The Thanksgiving kitchen, and the four weeks of cooking before it The friend who swaps her kitchen over the moment the leaves turn Hostess gift for a fall dinner where flowers would be one more thing to deal with Teacher gifts in September and October Anyone building the Geometry set season by season Details Geoweave™ fabric, tightly woven from post-consumer recycled materials Single-sided print Holds 7x its weight in liquid Printed in California Each towel keeps about 3.5 plastic bottles out of landfill Dimensions18" x 30" CareMachine wash cold or warm with mild detergent.
