Image 14373: Spinal Cord Stimulator Illustration

This graphic includes five medical illustrations demonstrating the thoracic and lumbar spine with the insertion of a spinal cord stimulator in the right side.  The first two illustrations demonstrate the surgery opening the low back and the surgical site after retraction of the surrounding tissues. The illustration series then demonstrates the advancement of the leads, and the position of a spinal cord stimulator in the area of the pelvis.  The final image is an oblique image of a male figure with the stimulator and leads in place post surgery. This graphic is best used for demand letters / narrative reports, mediation, arbitration or trial in cases involving a spinal cord stimulator in the lumbar and thoracic spine.
