PackTowl® Personal Towels

It’s hard to imagine nowadays, but can you believe there was a time when towels didn’t exist?! People had to patiently sit next to a fire or wipe themselves down with an animal pelt in order to dry off. We’re lucky—not only do we live in a time of towels, but we live in the time of PackTowl! These are far from your typical towel! They come with a higher price tag as well, but keep reading to learn why Personal Towels from PackTowl are worth the expense. PackTowl is here to revolutionize the towel by making it out of an ultra-soft fabric that’s easy to wring out and dries unbelievably fast—70% faster than cotton. Camp packing lists typically want you bringing four shower towels and two beach towels but these towels dry so quickly you can get away with bringing fewer! In fact, when hung out in the sun, they dry in just FIVE MINUTES. Perfect for camp! Made with built-in sand and dirt-repellency—just a few good shakes and this towel shrugs it all off! It’s guaranteed to survive multiple camp outings from one season to the next for many years to come.   The PackTowl Personal towels are also lightweight and amazingly absorbent. Your natural instinct may be to go with an ordinary, bulky cotton towel (probably like the ones in your bathroom at home), but a towel like this has its disadvantages in the summer camp setting such as eating up space and not remaining the most fresh. Good thing PackTowl makes their towels with odor-control technology! Between the speedy drying, amazing absorbency, insane portability, and other unbelievable features, it all may sound too good to be true. That’s why we put these towels to the test ourselves here at Everything Summer Camp. Our Vice President, Mark, is a big fan. “With other towels you need to dry yourself ten times over before you’re actually dry,” he said. “With PackTowl—one pass and you’re good.” Microfiber Defined The fibers of this fabric are thinner than silk! Tightly woven together, they create microfiber: a polyester and nylon blend that’s extra lightweight and extra soft! It actually came about in an attempt to create a cheaper alternative to natural fibers like cotton. Instead, it’s evolved into a material that’s even more desired. After all, it’s soft, light, sleek, water-resistant, and stain-resistant. Kick Cotton to the Curb Storage space is at a premium when you’re packing for camp. This towel is nearly paper-thin and proud of it too—not at all like your everyday bulky cotton bathroom set. But don’t let this lean physique fool you! This towel incredibly absorbs FOUR TIMES its weight in water! Fresh for Days PackTowl constructs their towels with odor-control technology called Polygeine®. This technology utilizes ions from silver which have a positive charge. These ions have been shown to be a powerful weapon against microbes. Where cotton will start getting that gross, sour smell, this towel will remain smelling fresh after days of use—very forgiving to life at camp!   Tailored to the camping world, these towels are made with durable construction and high-quality stitching. They even feature a Hanging Loop in one corner for easy hanging. When all rolled up, this towel is no bigger than a 32oz water bottle!  When your average towel comes back from camp, best case scenario: it becomes a rag towel. But PackTowl Personal Towels are anything but average. They’re great for camp, but these towels would make a great set in your home as well. They also work great for drying off after swimming, playing sports, and participating in after-school activities. Bring them to the gym, the pool, the beach…wherever you need to dry off!   Material: 80% Polyester, 20% Nylon Compact, Soft-Looped Microfiber Towel Sand and Dirt Repellent Compact and Portable 4x Absorbency Dries 70% Faster than Cotton Easy-Wringing Hang Loop and Zippered Storage Pouch 50% Recycled Fabrics Biodegradable Care Instructions: Machine Washable   Face Towel Weight: .7oz Dimensions: 14" x 10"  Hand Towel Weight: 2.9oz Dimensions: 36" x 16.5"  Body Towel Weight: 6.4oz Dimensions: 54" x 25"  Beach Towel Weight: 9.7oz Dimensions: 59" x 36"
