Pacific Signifier Blue Eye Rainbowfish (Tank-Bred)

The Pacific Signifer Blue Eye Rainbowfish (Pseudomugil signifer) is a popular and fascinating species in the aquarium trade, known for its iridescent beauty and peaceful nature. Pseudomugil species are smaller and often referred to as "blue-eyes" due to their characteristic bright blue irises. We recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more to achieve the best coloration for both males and females. These fish are adult shrimp-safe, however, we recommend having sufficient plants or hiding spots for aquariums with both Pacific Signifer Blue Eye Rainbowfish and freshwater shrimp.  Pacific Signifer Blue Eye Rainbowfish are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.  The following are our water parameters we keep them at: Our Tank Water Parameters PH: 7.2 to 7.5 GH: 7 to 8 KH: 3 to 4 TDS: 180 to 250 Temp: 75F to 80F We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.
