Pacific North Witch by Beth Gibbs

Reva Quinn has good reason not to believe in magic. With her life in Seattle in pieces after a mental health spiral, she has nowhere to go but to her eccentric Aunt Sandra’s all-women commune on the Oregon coast. But this refuge isn’t just for women; it’s for witches. And Reva doesn’t believe in witches. Not anymore. Reva’s four new roommates, with their uncanny abilities, welcome her into their lives, and Reva begins to feel a sense of home. But evil hunts Reva, a terrifying demon that stirs up hate among the local town folk who turn against the witches. Reva must face her past and her own unpredictable power if she wants to save her new friends and, ultimately, herself. “I loved Pacific North Witch because it transports you to the mystical, moody Pacific Northwest, where magic and reality blend. The story of a young woman discovering her true identity and grappling with the choice between light and darkness is both captivating and deeply relatable. Perfect for fans of magical realism and stories that leave a lasting impression.” -LeeAnn McLennan, author of The Supernormal Legacy trilogy “A spookily magical and heartfelt tale of empowerment and homecoming.” -Karen Eisenbrey, author of the Daughter of Magic trilogy “Wonderful characters, looming danger, and a thrilling climax. Plus: Witches!” -Benjamin Gorman, author of Don’t Read This Book and You Were Warned “In this beautifully written contemporary fantasy, magic is just one of the differences that set apart the women in a commune in Oregon’s Coast Range. With fear and misunderstanding on the rise, the day comes when they can no longer avoid confronting neighbors bent on driving them out. It’s an old story, retold in frighteningly familiar surroundings.” -Nan C Ballard, author of the Under Carico’s Moons trilogy “Witches fighting white supremacists? Sign me up.” -Maren Anderson, author of Sparks
