PAC1000-8 | 1000W 8-Zone 70V/100V Commercial Power Amplifier with Bluetooth, USB, LCD Display for Restaurants, Bars, Multi-Zone Installation

The Sound Town PAC1000-8 is a high-capacity commercial power amplifier engineered for large-scale audio distribution in professional environments. Delivering a powerful 1000W total output, it is designed to drive extensive constant-voltage speaker systems across 8 independent zones with consistent performance and ample headroom. Its 19" rack-mountable form factor and rugged construction make it well-suited for permanent installations. Audio control and source management are streamlined through the integrated LCD display, which provides clear visibility of playback status and system settings. Flexible connectivity includes Bluetooth wireless streaming, USB playback, a built-in FM radio tuner with included antenna, three sets of RCA line inputs, and three microphone inputs for paging and background music. The included remote control allows convenient source selection and volume adjustment from across the room. The PAC1000-8 provides 8-zone outputs, each with individual volume control for precise multi-zone management. While each zone can be adjusted independently, the total combined power across all zones must not exceed 1000W. Important note: multi-zone operation is intended for 70V/100V systems only. For low-impedance applications, a dedicated 4–16Ω main output is available, which bypasses zone controls and cannot be used simultaneously with 70V/100V. Built for long-term reliability, the amplifier incorporates a built-in clipping limiter and a high-efficiency cooling system to help prevent distortion and overheating during continuous operation. Housed in a premium cast-aluminum front panel with integrated heavy-duty handles, the PAC1000-8 delivers the durability and performance required for restaurants, lounges, bars, schools, warehouses, and other commercial audio installations.   FEATURES 8-ZONE 1000W COMMERCIAL POWER AMPLIFIER WITH INDIVIDUAL CONTROL: Delivers a powerful 1000W total output across 8 independent speaker zones, each with its own volume control for precise multi-zone audio distribution. Multi-zone operation is intended for 70V/100V systems; low-impedance (4–16Ω) output bypasses zone controls and cannot be used simultaneously.  VERSATILE INPUTS WITH LCD DISPLAY & REMOTE CONTROL: Supports Bluetooth wireless streaming, USB playback, and a built-in FM radio tuner with included antenna. Also features three sets of RCA line inputs and three microphone inputs for paging and background music. The integrated LCD display provides real-time playback and system status, while the included remote control allows convenient source and volume adjustments from a distance.  FRONT-PANEL CONTROLS & INSTALL-GRADE DESIGN: Includes master volume, bass and treble adjustment, independent AUX input level knobs, MP3 playback volume, dedicated chime and siren controls, and individual Mic 1–3 volume knobs for precise system tuning. Built with a premium cast-aluminum front panel and integrated heavy-duty handles, the PAC1000-8 delivers durability and structural integrity for demanding rack-mounted or tabletop commercial installations—ideal for multi-zone restaurants, schools, and other commercial environments.  ADVANCED CIRCUIT PROTECTION: A built-in clipping limiter and high-efficiency cooling system help prevent distortion and overheating during continuous operation, protecting both the amplifier and connected speaker networks in commercial environments.  SPECIFICATIONS Specifications Model PAC1000-8 Output Power 1000W RMS Output Type 70V / 100V / 4–16Ω Microphone Input 3 mV, 600 Ω Line Input 200 mV, 10 kΩ Frequency Range 40 Hz - 20 kHz Distortion 0.5% (1 kHz) S/N Ratio AUX 88 dB S/N Ratio MIC 116 dB Voltage 110V Dimension & Weight Product Width (in.) 19.0" Package Width (in.) 24.8" Product Height (in.) 19.5" Package Height (in.) 24.2" Product Depth (in.) 5.3" Package Depth (in.) 11.8" Product Weight (lb.) 52.0 lbs Package Weight (lb.) 62.0 Ibs Warranty/Certifications Manufacturer Warranty 1 Year   FAQ Q: What speaker wire should be used for this system? A: Speaker wire is not included. To ensure optimal performance and minimize signal loss, select the appropriate wire gauge based on the distance between your amplifier and speakers: Distance Wire Gauge 10–15 ft 18 AWG 15–25 ft 16 AWG 25–50 ft 14 AWG 50–100 ft 12 AWG Over 100 ft 10 AWG Using a thicker (lower gauge) wire for longer runs helps maintain signal strength and overall audio quality.
