OZONE ZEOLITE 2 Wing

Ozone Zeolite 2 Wing Light Performance / Competition – EN D The Ozone Zeolite 2 proved its worth in the 2023 X-Alps, on the podium and at the finish line. It is our lightest high-performance wing, designed for pilots who need the absolute minimum in weight and maximum in performance for the most demanding vol-biv missions and hike & fly competitions. The Zeolite 2 is made with a full 10D top surface, and Dyneema risers. Developed from 2023 Red Bull X-Alps competition wing Uncompromising ultra-light high performance Same weight as predecessor, with higher performance Improved agility and handling, with high solidity in active air Specifications Sizes XS S MS ML Number of cells 71 71 71 71 Projected area (m2) 15.9 17.2 18.5 19.8 Flat Area (m^2) 18.9 20.4 22 23.5 Projected Span (m) 8.9 9.3 9.6 9.9 Flat Span (m) 11.3 11.8 12.2 12.6 Projected Aspect Ratio 5 5 5 5 Flat Aspect Ratio 6.8 6.8 6.8 6.8 Root Chord (m) 2.09 2.17 2.26 2.33 Glider Weight (kg) 2.72 2.88 3.03 3.16 In-flight Weight Range (kg) 60-75 65-85 80-95 90-105 Certification D D D D * Weights may vary up to 50gm per size due to slight variations in the manufacturing of the fabric used. Colour Options The Design The profile has evolved to include the latest progress we’ve made in the areas of speed and handling. Principally, the benefits have come from a new cell opening position. The aspect ratio is slightly increased, but still moderate for the category and has proved to be comfortable in strong alpine conditions. The cell count is increased by 7, which improves the sail cohesion in turbulent air, improves the handling, and increases performance whilst maintaining the same weight as the original Zeolite. In Flight Passive safety and collapse behavior has been improved via better chordwise line support at the rear of the wing. Despite the improved support, total line drag is less than its predecessor. A new spanwise architecture is made entirely of 3-cell bridges, similar to the Photon. This allows the best diagonal panel ratio for the amount of line attachments, which maintains light weight while increasing efficiency.
