Ozone Viper 6 Wing

Ozone Viper 6  wing ADVANCE XC / COMPETITION Wing The Ozone Viper 6 is a high-performance PPG wing designed for experienced pilots searching for the highest levels of efficiency, speed and performance. It features the latest design elements and technology taken directly from our high performance PG and PPG development programs to deliver an exciting wing that is fun to fly with performance levels ideal for long XC flying and high level classic competitions. Higher performance allows for better fuel efficiency and extended XC flights, there is no need to fly over-powered. In thermal conditions its glide, sink rate and handling characteristics are similar to a free flight paraglider with very agile, fun handling and exceptional climb and glide performance. For classic competition Unsheathed lines Winglets for roll stability Best efficiency for long XC expeditions PK system and 2D steering High top speed over 70km/h Specifications Sizes 16 18 20 22 Number of cells 62 62 62 62 Projected area (m2) 13.7 15.4 17.1 18.8 Flat Area (m^2) 16.1 18.1 20.1 22.1 Projected Span (m) 7.68 8.15 8.58 9 Flat Span (m) 9.64 10.22 10.77 11.3 Projected Aspect Ratio 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 Flat Aspect Ratio 5.8 5.8 5.8 5.8 Root Chord (m) 2.1 2.23 2.35 2.46 Glider Weight (kg) 3.48 3.69 3.98 4.26 PG Weight Range (kg) 55-80 65-90 75-105 85-115 PPG Weight Range (kg) 80-120 90-130 100-140 110-160 DGAC DGAC DGAC DGAC DGAC * Weights may vary up to 50gm per size due to slight variations in the manufacturing of the fabric used. Colour Options DESIGN The Viper 6 features winglets for improved roll stability, making it more efficient in straight flight with less parasitic roll movements requiring less pilot input. Winglets also aid in the spiral stability reducing the chances of remaining neutral in the spiral dive. The internal structure has been strengthened in critical load areas to reduce the mechanical deformation of the ribs and diagonals. This results in better structural integrity of the wing, ensuring the sail retains its quality over time for better performance and longevity. The use of light weight siliconized Dominico N10D fabric reduces the overall weight of the sail for improved handling, greater feel and better inflation characteristics whilst the silicon coating significantly improves durability for a longer lifespan. The profile has been chosen to perfectly balance performance, solidity, efficiency and handling with minor modifications to the planform for a smoother more progressive rib alignment. RISERS The risers features colour coding to differentiate the risers, new maillon line keepers, brake handles with twist-preventing swivels and magnetic-lock clips. As standard, there is an Ozone PK system built into the risers and 2D steering system. PILOT Designed specifically for competent and experienced pilots, the Viper 6 is the World Champion’s choice and the perfect tool for classic competitions and XC flying.
