The Pocket Rocket V2 parawing delivers truly accessible performance for anyone. Inspired with input from our paragliding and foil kite departments, the efficient and very intuitive flying feel will also allow experienced parawingers to quickly take their existing riding skills to new levels. Take on the adventure. You can do-it-all with the Pocket Rocket V2. WHERE WILL IT TAKE YOU? • Excellent upwind performance • Easy handling with smooth power and improved low end • Extra power can now also be generated by pumping • Faster and more convenient stashing Tech updates at a glance • Shorter bridle set-up, inspired by the PowerPack • New Bow Bar design for high levels of control • New compact shape reduces chance of contact with the water • Refined profile and improved canopy tension – including a diagonal rib support structure which has further improved upwind performance and low end power WHO IS THE Pocket Rocket V2 FOR, AND HOW WILL IT HELP? The Pocket Rocket V2 Is the ideal choice for most riders thanks to an all new profile section, enhanced sail shaping and a new planform, along with the addition of several user-friendly design features found on our PowerPack wing. • The reduced aspect-ratio design delivers a wider low wind range, including more grunt, which is great for bringing you quickly up on foil • The new elliptical outline also contributes to the increased handling response and more progressive bar feel • The more compact (lower-aspect) shape also means you’re less likely to catch the tip in the water than on the V1 • The Pocket Rocket V2 continues to deliver easy and impressive upwind performance DESIGNER’S INSIGHT The Pocket Rocket V2 features a new profile section, aspect-ratio and bridle set-up, with everything working together in harmony to create what we feel is a new milestone wing when it comes to helping rider progression. The V2 feels even more predictable, making the learning phase quicker while the intuitive handling will immediately give you the confidence to head out on the foiling adventures you’ve been dreaming about. The power delivery is smoother and more constant throughout the range. The sweet spot is bigger and less sensitive to handling errors. Riding upwind you have more tension to push against. When pointing downwind the stall point now sits considerably further back and stalls later. Due to the reduced aspect-ratio (less wing span), inflation after redeployment is quicker, the steering is more nimble and the tips are also less prone to accidentally touching the water surface. Everything now feels much easier and cleaner. The new front line material has already proved its performance on the PowerPack and also helps to speed-up packing and redeployment. We’ve also added a 5.7m to the range, which increases the fun on really light wind days. ALL NEW SHAPE: CANOPY STRUCTURE: • Diagonal ribs at the front of the wing help to evenly distribute load via the leading edge into the sail • The all new profile section works in harmony with a new outline and the Bow Bar to deliver more progressive power control,  inspiring confidence • This also makes the wing feel more forgiving as it has a lower stalling speed when pointing higher into the wind, allowing you to cruise upwind without worrying too much about your technique. BRIDLE DESIGN CENTRE FRONT LINE RISER: Bundling your frontlines via the centre riser — which excludes the wingtip lines — drastically reduces hand forces and makes reaching the canopy quicker and easier NEW BRIDLE LINE MATERIAL: Developed specifically for parawing use, the new front lines feature a special coating for effortless, smooth and rash-free handling REFINED LINE DIAMETER AND STIFFNESS: Helping to ensure fast, tangle-free packdowns — every time V-SHRINK TABS ON THE TRAILING EDGE: Precisely positioned to allow for a reduced number of brake lines, while also distributing balanced tension along the entire trailing edge. Contributing to a less complex bridle layout makes pack down and redeployment easier, while the more grunty power produced by the rounded parachute shape captures a good blast of wind to bring you up on foil! POWERPACK INSPIRED SIMPLICITY • A shorter bridle layout and new centre front line riser makes it much easier to pack the wing down quickly • The shorter bridle layout also makes the wing more reactive and easier to manoeuvre • Stiff bridle line material with a special coating allows for super-smooth hand sliding up the frontlines and tangle-free packing • The Pocket Rocket V2 bundles to a compact packdown size (although not as small as the PowerPack), and is ideal for use with the Stash Harness, Stash Belt and Mission Pack • New Bow Bar design for added control and comfort with shorter bar length than on the V1 (introduced on the PowerPack) • New simple backpack which can be used on water with a spare wing   FREEHAND CONTROL WITH THE BOW BAR As featured on our PowerPack parawing, the Bow Bar delivers comfort and control to complement the Pocket Rocket’s free-feeling performance. • • There are two Bow Bar sizes in the Pocket Rocket V2 range; sizes 5.7, 5, 4.3, 3.6 and 3m are provided with a 36cm bar. Sizes 2.4m and 1.9m come with a 33cm bar, creating the perfect balance for maximum control and packing size • • By eliminating the central leader line on the original Pocket Rocket bar, the Bow Bar design frees up hand positioning and opens the centre section of the bar. You can now focus more on your riding and less on your hands • • The Bow line engages the central bridle line levels on a ratio which controls the canopy much more evenly through angle-of-attack changes. The power range has become more progressive through input to the bar’s angle and you’ll feel enhanced top-end and bottom-end power control ESSENTIAL ACCESSORIES TO HELP YOU GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR POCKET ROCKET V2 We highly recommend pairing any parawing with our dedicated Harness lines (various sizes available) and a harness, such as the Ozone Stash Harness or Stash Belt. This recommendation is for any level rider, even beginners. These products will help you experience: • Reduced upper-body fatigue • Faster, more efficient upwind performance • Longer, more enjoyable sessions PARAWING ACCESSORIES For adventure sessions, use the Ozone Mission Pack — designed to carry up to two backup wings, a phone, water bottle or flare. It’s also ideal for wingfoilers who want a rescue parawing in case of deflation of their inflatable wing. Riders Perspective The comfort of having such a stable platform that holds its profile shape so well, driving forward rather than yanking you downwind, always inspires me to do another lap. I think to myself, ‘I’ll do just one more’, but then I redeploy and hook in and am instantly inspired to go again as I also enjoy the sailing part so much! Thank you so much for obviously working so hard on it, allowing us to have such amazing toys. This thing is on another level. PATRICK REBSTOCK, DEDICATED WATERMAN, CALIFORNIA
