Ozone V4 Hyperlink Foil Kite

Ozone V4 Hyperlink Foil Kiteboarding Kite THE ULTIMATE CROSSOVER FOIL KITE FOR WATER AND SNOW The Hyperlink is a true multi-purpose foil kite. Set it up in closed cell 4-line mode on the water or convert it to open cell 5-line mode for the ultimate in safe and versatile handling on the snow. Ideal first foil kite that also delivers versatile snowkite performance True cross-over use with easy handling and exceptional stability Convertible modes: closed cell 4-line / open cell 5-line Offers great value with a premium foil kite design PERFECT FOR First foil kite for intermediate kitesurfers on water Riders who desire sportier turning on snow or water The V4 has been improved throughout, with lighter bar feeling and reduced aspect-ratio to make it faster and more nippy in its steering. For kiters who are used to the handling feel of an inflatable kite, the Hyperlink V4’s similar steering performance makes it the obvious choice when transitioning to using a foil kite. The Hyperlink V4 covers almost every aspect of kiting. Freeride, hydrofoil, boost and float, air style or unhooked as well as backcountry snow missions; it delivers for all! 4-LINE CLOSED CELL MODE The Hyperlink comes standard in 4-line Closed Cell Mode, which is recommended when using the kite on the water. It uses the same front line flag out safety system as our inflatable 4-line kites. After pre-inflating the kite on the ground, the kite fully inflates itself in the air, offering responsive, intuitive steering that feels similar to an inflatable. This has been the hallmark of the Hyperlink range and why, for many, it’s the perfect first foil kite. The new V4 model handles even faster and with more freeride and jumping capabilities, bringing it even closer to the feel of an inflatable kite. RELAUNCH Relaunch is also quick and easy in closed cell mode as water is kept out of the cells. To relaunch the Hyperlink just pull one line, using the relaunch ball and / or brake handle on the back leader lines. HYPERLINK V4 Vs. CHRONO V5 Using the Hyperlink in closed cell 4-line mode (as recommended for use on the water), the Hyperlink V4 doesn’t shoot as far forward in the window as the Chrono. With its higher aspect-ratio design the Chrono’s airspeed is also faster, so it’s capable of producing greater board speed and boosting height, but it’s slower in its turning and wider in its arc. If you’re familiar with our inflatable kite range, think of the Hyperlink like the Enduro and the Chrono more like the Edge. The Hyperlink is more of an all-rounder, turning tighter and easier. Generally, it is more easy-going and has an excellent relaunch. In gusty winds, or if you’re overpowered, the Hyperlink V4 will also feel more stable than the Chrono. The Chrono is the racier model and takes a little more technical foil kite know-how to handle it. For freeride twin-tip and hydrofoil riding the Hyperlink V4 feels very intuitive. If you have some foil kite experience and are looking to ride your hydrofoil at speed or push the biggest hang-times on your twin-tip, you should look at the Chrono for its fly and glide performance. Features High Performance Ultra-Light Materials - Durable, airtight and lightweight double rip-stop Nylon material for the upper and lower surfaces. The material has a unique formulated coating to help shed water, improving flying characteristics and water re-launch. Transverse Sail Shaping - The Leading Edge now features Transverse Sail Shaping creating a cleaner surface on the most important area of the aerofoil. The result is less turbulent airflow and longer skin adhesion, which positively affects the lift to drag ratio increasing overall performance. Leading Edge Profile Battens - The Leading Edge is reinforced with flexible lightweight plastic battens to maintain the shape of the profile during angle of attack changes and turbulent airflow. This drastically improves overall performance as the foil remains true to the designed shape. Innovative Inflate Valve - The Hyperlink can be easily converted between 4-Line Closed Cell and 5-Line Open Cell modes using our innovative inflate valve. Sheathed Dyneema Bridle Lines - High quality, low stretch sheathed bridle lines for maximum strength and performance. This is the same line we have used on our Snowkite range for over 10 years. Closed cell foil kite technical bag - Technical Bag with loads of space featuring an internal stash pocket and external control system pocket. Adjustable shoulder straps and foam padding provide extra comfort.
