FAQs Q: Can I use the chamber by myself? A: Yes, the OxyPro Genesis features redundant control panels for easy operating control of all functions from both inside and outside the chamber for single person use. Q: What makes the OxyPro Genesis different from other models? A: The OxyPro Genesis offers multi-place seating with customizable configurations and options. The OxyPro Genesis is often described as the "pinnacle" or "flagship" of the OxyPro hard-shell line. While models like the Vision prioritize visibility and the Vantage focus on luxury seating, the Genesis is designed as a high-capacity, heavy-duty "multi-place" cabin that bridges the gap between a private luxury suite and a clinical treatment room. Key Comparison Table Feature OxyPro Genesis Other OxyPro Models (Excel/Vision/Vantage) Chamber Type Multi-place Cabin (Box-style) Monoplace (Cylindrical or Seated) Max Pressure 2.0 ATA Variable (1.5 to 2.0 ATA) Occupancy 1–3 Persons Usually 1 Person (Standard) Interior Space Large Room (87" L x 72" H) Compact Capsule or Chair Standard Seating Dual Reclining Power Chairs Single Mattress or Built-in Seat Air Quality Negative Ion & Nano-Sterilization Standard Filtration 1. Form Factor: The "Room" vs. The "Capsule" The Genesis: Unlike the cylindrical tube shape of the Excel or Vision, the Genesis is built like a rectangular cabin. It has a high ceiling (usually around 72 inches), allowing most users to almost stand up or move around freely. Other Models: Most other models are "monoplace," meaning they are designed to contour around a single body. They are more efficient for space but can feel more restrictive for longer sessions. 2. Multi-Place Capacity The Genesis: It is specifically engineered to hold multiple people (typically 2 to 3) comfortably. This makes it the only choice in the lineup if you intend to have a parent go in with a child, or if two partners want to do their therapy together. Other Models: While the Ultra 6500 also offers multi-person capacity, the Genesis is often preferred for its "sitting-room" layout, featuring side-by-side power reclining chairs rather than a bench or flat mattress. 3. Advanced Environmental Controls The Genesis usually comes standard with "Pro-Series" features that are often optional on other models: Sterilization: It includes a built-in Anti-Virus Sterilization System (using nano water ions) and a Negative Ion Air Purifier. This is critical for a multi-person chamber to keep the air fresh and clinical-grade. Climate & Comm: It features dual cooling machines and a high-definition internal communication system as standard, whereas smaller models might use more basic ventilation. Why would someone choose the Genesis over other models? 1. You are Claustrophobic If you cannot handle the "tube" feeling of a standard chamber, the Genesis is the solution. Because it is a rectangular room with large windows and a high ceiling, it feels like sitting in a small, private office rather than a medical device. 2. Family or Caregiver Needs If the person receiving therapy needs assistance (such as a child, an elderly parent, or someone with mobility issues), a caregiver can sit comfortably inside the Genesis next to them. In a standard Vision or Excel, the caregiver would have to stay outside. 3. The "Home Cinema" Experience The Genesis is frequently customized with internal TV systems and power-reclining chairs. For users who plan on doing daily 90-minute sessions, the Genesis allows them to turn their therapy time into a high-end relaxation or "work-from-chamber" session. 4. Commercial Throughput For a wellness clinic, the Genesis allows for "Group Therapy" sessions, which can double or triple the revenue per hour compared to a single-person chamber. Summary Choose the OxyPro Genesis if space and social interaction are your priorities. Choose the Vantage or Vision if you have limited floor space and prefer a more private, individual "biohacking" pod experience.
