Owl Ivory Nut Carving

Tagua (also known as vegetable ivory or ivory nut ) comes  from a type of  nut that grows on a palm tree. When mature the nuts are dried and then cut or carved into beautiful sculptures, jewelry, and souvenirs. The nuts are non-toxic, eco-friendly, and sustainable. They are harvested without harming the trees which result in protecting the rainforest and its animals. Owls symbolize inner wisdom, change, transformation, intuitive development, good luck, and self-actualization. Their watchful eye also symbolize a form of protection. A lovely specimen, finely carved, this owl is   2"  tall x  2"   x  2  1/4"
