OW149-2 Colonial Sofa

Designed by Ole Wanscher in 1964, the OW149-2 Colonial Sofa translates the refined lightness of the Colonial Chair into a graceful two-seat form. Slender wood members, precise bracing, and gently curved armrests create an airy framework for generously supportive cushions. Originally produced only in small quantities, the sofa returned with Carl Hansen & Søn’s reintroduction of the full Colonial Series. Its quiet proportions and beautifully resolved joinery make it a natural choice for intimate living rooms, studies, and sophisticated lounge spaces.
